Fifth stay in 12 years! It is an understatement to say that we like it! Martine and Alain are adorable: welcoming, helpful with good advice and at the same time discreet. The cottage is ideally located for visits and sports activities. Quiet, very well equipped, very clean, nicely decorated, heated swimming pool. A cottage at the top!

Do you want to spend your holidays close to nature in an old house with 17th century charm? The Maison des Templiers, restored into two gîtes , and the Moulin de La Doux offer you a break out of time and everyday life . Located in Corrèze in the south-west of France, the gîtes of the Maison des Templiers are an ideal rallying point to meet up with friends or family. Very close to Brive, you are a stone's throw from the Dordogne valley, Sarlat, Rocamadour and Lascaux IV!

The story of
The House of the Templars
In love with old stones , renovation and passionate about the history of their region, Martine and Alain have been welcoming you since 2002 in their character gîtes. At the Maison des Templiers as at the Moulin de La Doux , you will live in an old house belonging to the architectural heritage of Larche and its surroundings. Imagine then that in the 17th century, the walls of these buildings housed the Cistercian builder monks . They lived from the vine and made excellent AOC wine before the Phylloxera crisis at the end of the 19th century in Corrèze. Knights Templar or Dalon (Martine would talk about it for hours!), these monks left signs of their passage forever engraved in stone! When you come to stay, you will feel it, the ancient stone will soothe you!
