The equipment of the lodgings

At the Moulin de La Doux, recently renovated, all small and large household appliances (oven, refrigerator, etc.) have been chosen respecting the best energy saving classification . The TV in the living room of the Moulin is a flat screen with eco-class sustainable technology.

The bathrooms

In all the bathrooms have been installed energy-saving shower heads and water flow regulators . You benefit from a selection of organic hospitality products from the Beau Terra brand. Shampoo and shower gel in biodegradable packaging are available to you.

Heating

The old oil heating system has been replaced by a more environmentally friendly pellet boiler .

Garbage sorting

Two containers are at your disposal to sort the waste. Household waste should be put in the brown bin. Cardboard, plastic, metal should be thrown in the yellow bin.

Make you discover exceptional local products

When you arrive, Martine offers you the Box Gaillarde. In reusable cardboard packaging, you will discover local gastronomy through a selection of products made in the region by small artisans and producers . Craft beer, sweet treats, Corrèze wine, local specialty or canned pâté are all products that you will find in the box. A friendly way to welcome you to Pays Gaillard!

Allow you to travel lighter to reduce fuel consumption

At the Maison des Templiers, you won't need to bother carrying your childcare equipment. Martine knows something about it, mom and grandmother, she has everything planned for your child. The Baby Pack includes a wall-mounted changing table installed in the bathroom, a foldable baby bed and a high chair. You travel light and arrive with peace of mind!

As for household linen, it's the same thing, sheets, bedspreads, pillowcases, hand towels, tea towels… all the household linen you will need for your stay is provided in the gîte.

Leaving end-of-stay cleaning aside, it's a solidarity company that intervenes

At the end of your stay, you are asked to return the gîte in the state in which you found it. Each object must be in its place and the kitchen tidy. Cleaning will be done after your departure by a social reintegration company Maison & Services.

Fill your plate with good local products

You are lucky, you are staying in a territory rich in local products available most often in short circuits. Local producers directly on the farm and on the markets are not lacking in galliard land. You can enjoy a local basket filled with good products: fruits, vegetables, meats, charcuterie, cheeses, dairy products, local beers, etc.

Getting around by bike

You are on vacation, you have time. True disconnection also involves gentle mobility. The Causse Vézère adventure mountain bike base located on the edge of the Causse lake offers 14 circuits on more than 260 km of marked trails adapted to different levels of practice. You can go for a ride during the day or rent bikes for the whole week . If you decide to rent bikes for the duration of your stay in Corrèze, let Martine know when you book your gîte. She knows the rental company well and will be happy to open the gîte to them to deliver the bikes to you directly on site before your arrival.

If you wish to have mid-stay cleaning services, let Martine know. She will reserve for you the passage of the Maison & Services company at a time agreed upon together.
